Support our work
We ensure that we have a medical team on site 365 days a year.
In order to be able to guarantee our work, we constantly need donations in kind and money (for bandages, medicines, rent, vehicle costs, materials such as treatment tents, medical instruments, storage racks, etc.).

Medical aid
for refugees in Dunkerque
No Border Medics is a small, donation-funded NGO in Dunkerque, northern France, which has been providing medical aid for refugees since September 2022.
Using simple means, it offers care for wounds and treatment for colds, flu, scabies and orthopaedic problems.
In view of the EU member states’ disregard for their obligation to provide all people with the basic necessities of life, No Border Medics sees it as its responsibility to create a temporary offer of primary medical care.

The location
between Dunkirk and Calais
Thousands of refugees are currently being held in irregular camps between Dunkerque and Calais, on the north coast of France.
They are mainly Kurds from Iraq and Iran as well as people from Afghanistan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Punjabis from India, living in simple tents.
They are waiting to cross the English Channel to the UK by boat or truck. As there is no legal entry route for refugees, the illegalized crossing is very dangerous and sometimes even fatal.
even fatal.
Life here is characterized by frustration and suffering, but also by hopes and dreams of a better future.

Many of these people have been in Western Europe for years and have lived within the EU for several years. Due to the restrictive asylum policy, many people have no other option but to leave the EU.
Displaced people suffer from physical and psychological violence, including a lack of protection and safety as well as difficult access to essential material goods such as food, water, medical care, clothing, tents and sleeping bags. The flight can take several years, or even decades, which is why people suffer both physically and psychologically.
We are dependent on donations to maintain our daily work. These are used, for example, for bandages, medicines, the maintenance of our “mobile clinic”, but also running costs such as rent, storage space and vehicles.
