About No Border Medics
No Border Medics is a donation-funded NGO based in Dunkirk, northern France, that has been providing medical care to people on the move since September 2022.
In response to EU member states’ failure to meet their obligation to ensure that everyone has access to the basic necessities of life, No Border Medics recognises its responsibility to establish a temporary service providing basic medical care.
Using simple means, we provide wound care and treatment for conditions such as colds, flu, scabies and orthopaedic problems.
Our aim is to provide an accessible, needs-based point of contact for everyone in the area. We are on site year-round, five days a week during the day, and provide care to sometimes more than 100 people a day.
Our mobile clinic consists of a large treatment tent that provides shelter from rain and wind, as well as a converted, heated van equipped with an examination couch for medical assessments.
